Issara Property was founded to solve a specific problem: UK buyers, FIFO workers, and overseas purchasers navigating Thai property without a single independent advocate on their side.
Two founders. One unmet gap.
Issara — the Thai word for “independence” — captures everything we stand for. When our founders first tried to buy in Bangkok, they discovered what every overseas buyer discovers: every agent, website, and portal they consulted was, in reality, a developer's sales arm. Commission-driven, conflict-laden, and working against the interests of the person they claimed to be helping.
So they built the service they wished had existed: a buying agency with a native Thai speaker who has genuine on-the-ground relationships across Bangkok and Phuket's agent and legal network — and a UK-side partner who understands the financial and structuring questions British buyers face before they ever book a flight.
We work with London professionals, FIFO workers who can't easily travel to Thailand, digital nomads building a base in Asia, and British expats purchasing from overseas. The brief never changes: find the right property at the right price, with complete transparency and no conflicts of interest.

Alexandra brings UK financial and property expertise to every transaction — advising clients on currency strategy, UK tax implications, and structuring acquisitions for those planning to let. Having spent time living in Bangkok, she brings a first-hand understanding of what overseas buyers encounter on the ground, and the questions that arise on both sides of the deal.

Thanakorn is a native Thai speaker with deep personal relationships across Bangkok and Phuket's estate agent, developer, and property law network. He leads all in-country research, negotiation, and legal coordination — and is our clients' voice in every Thai-language conversation. His on-the-ground access is the reason buyers working with Issara see properties, prices, and terms that no overseas buyer could reach independently.
